The Blade: BOS Heat Treated CPM S35VN offers enhanced toughness over S30V while still delivering excellent edge holding and corrosion resistance. The high hollow grind on the recurve blade slices though the toughest hides with ease with jimping at the tip and spine of the blade for optimal control. The integral guard keeps your fingers free of the blade and gut hook on the spine offers added utility and cutting power.

The Handle: The sweeping handles of the 537 are made from contoured and textured OD Green canvas Micarta. Micarta is super durable, weather resistant and high traction material that provides a secure grip even in wet conditions. The full tang construction makes the Open Season Skinner tough enough for the hardest tasks and a generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.
