The Blade: Damasteel DS93X is used for the hollow ground, drop point blade which can be opened via the oval blade hole or integral flipper tab just like the original. Damasteel is stainless, pattern welded steel that is etched to bring out the eye-catching patterns made in the pattern welding process. Damasteel looks fantastic but it's no slouch in the performance department. A combination of powder metallurgy steels, Damasteel has great toughness and corrosion resistance while taking a fine, razor like edge. Think of Damasteel as the better looking cousin of CPM154.

The Handle: The Ivory Vantage has the same ergonomic handle design and stainless steel liner construction that make the Vantage Pro such a great knife. The liner lock mechanism offers the same ease of operation and reliable lockup as well. Were the Ivory Vantage differs is where it takes its name: It sports an elegant, polished Ivory Micarta scale that gives it a tuxedo like look that goes perfectly with the handsome Damasteel blade.
