Burr Oak Custom Bird & Trout Bold Twist Damascus Ebony & Afzelia Burl

The Burr Oak Custom Bird & Trout knife is a uniquely finished full custom fixed blade knife handmade by Mark Nevling. This slim little outdoor fixed blade is made from a Bold Twist pattern carbon steel Damascus blade and Stabilized Afzelia Burl handle bronze and Ebony spacers and bronze guard.

Blade: In keeping with the Bird & Trout name this custom piece has a long, slim blade that is nimble and capable. The blade is a carbon Damascus with a Bold Twist pattern that is eye-catching with a full flat grind and crowned spine for an even more custom feel. The carbon Damascus is tough and takes a razor sharp edge for easy maintenance in the field.

Handle: The hidden tang of the blade is attached via a single pin to the striking stabilized Afzelia Burl handle that tapers to the pommel for a solid, secure grip. Bronze and Ebony spacers deliver a classic look separating the handle from the generous bronze finger guard that gives the security you need with a hunting knife. The neutral handle design in comfortable in nearly any grip.

Sheath: Carries via hand stitched leather belt sheath with dyed Ostrich leg overlay.

Includes padded zipper pouch for storage and signed certificate of authenticity.
