The Drop Point Hunter is an exceptional example of Camerer's work featuring a hand forged, 1800 layer carbon steel Damascus blade, polished guard and stag handle with African Black Wood end cap.

Blade: A custom take on the classic drop point hunter the flat ground blade has good belly for skinning with good all around utility and a generous ricasso for added control in fine work. 1800 layer carbon steel Damascus offers a striking look while providing solid outdoor performance and ease of sharpening.

Handle: Flanked with a polished nickel silver guard on one end and an African Black Wood cap on the other is a solid stag handle. The stag handle is comfortable and ergonomic with a warm, organic feel with solid traction and good durability and weather resistance. A single stainless pin affixes the handle to the through tang.

Sheath: Carries via a tooled leather belt sheath.

Camerer Damascus: A high quality, carbon steel Damascus, Craig Camerer's custom Damascus is a folded, pattern welded steel made from simple 1084 high carbon steel and 15N20 band saw blade material. The steels are forge welded, folded and acid etched to achieve a unique layered pattern. Cutting performance will be similar to the carbon steels mentioned above. Care is required to prevent corrosion.
