This Case 1996 Transition Shield Stag Trapper was issued with dual shields from the well recognized Case oval shield to the new Case XX shield. Features mirror polished clip and spey blades. Master clip stamped Case with long C and 4 dots also inked TRANSITION 1996. Secondary spey blade bears the pattern number 5254 SS. Both blades have good snap, no wobble. Nice matching stag prominently displaying both nickel silver shields. The trapper pattern is the most popular among the Case family, valued and highly collectible.

Condition: This knife is in mint condition and has never been used, carried or sharpened. No box.
