This congress pattern was produced in 1991 as part of the Case Classics series of knives. Features a master sheepsfoot blade with long pull stamped Case Tested XX Bradford Pa. 91. Secondary coping and pen also stamped Case XX Tested. Large spear point also stamped Case Tested XX Bradford Pa.1991 USA. Back of large spear bears the pattern number 5488. All blades are mirror polished carbon steel with half stops and long pulls. Smooth operation with good snap. It has nice, AAA+ Sambar stag scales which are chip and crack free accented with a nickel silver arrowhead shield. Has never been used carried or sharpened. This piece was produced by Blue Grass Cutlery under license from W.R Case and Sons. Congress knives are highly valued and sought after by many collectors. Limited Production.
Condition: Knife is in mint condition with some small rubs visible on the front of the master blade and rear of the coping blade. Knife does not come with the original box or certificate of authenticity.
