Details
A classic jack knife, the Case Copperhead is essentially a non-locking version of the Copperlock pattern. Compact and easy to carry, the Copperhead offers two blades at the small end of the handle: a large primary blade, usually a clip and a small pen. This version comes with Caribbean blue sawcut jig bone covers and polished Tru-Sharp stainless steel pen and Wharncliffe blades.
Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.
Blades: Equipped with slicing hollow grinds, the dual blades of the Copperlock are ideally versatile for handling everyday tasks. The Wharncliffe handles any heavy cutting chores, while the pen is ideal for piercing and detail work. Made of Case's Tru-Sharp Stainless steel, the blades open via classic nail nicks and have a high mirror polish finish.
Handle: Rugged Caribbean blue sawcut jig bone covers are fit between two sets of nickel silver bolsters for a classic and stylish look. Construction is classic brass liner and pin with Case Oval shield and dual stainless steel back springs delivering smooth slip-joint operation with half stop.
Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel: Case's proprietary version of 420HC. Stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough. With proper heat treat, it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
