Details
Designed by Case Legend Tom Hart the Copperlock was an entirely new pattern released in 1997 that brought together element of older patterns: the Trapper & Copperhead. This version comes with Corn Cob Jig Burnt Indigo Bone covers and a polished Tru-Sharp Wharncliffe blade. Great for daily use or as an addition to any Case collection. Rugged, handsome and ready for use.
Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.
Blade: The Tru-Sharp stainless steel blade is finished in a bright polish and sports a long pull nail nick for easy opening of the blade. The pattern is a long Wharncliffe blade with a full flat grind for an excellent combination of strength and cutting performance.
Handle: Polished Nickel Silver bolsters frame eye-catching Burnt Indigo Bone covers with Corn Cob Jigged texture. The covers are fitted with brass pins to brass liners and the front cover sports an iconic Arrowhead Shield. A sturdy back spring offers simple, smooth mid-back lock operation for secure use.
As with all natural materials the patterns of the bone scales may vary on each knife.
Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel: Case's proprietary version of 420HC. Stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough. With proper heat treat it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
