Details
Designed by Case Legend Tom Hart the Copperlock was an entirely new pattern released in 1997 that brought together elements of older patterns: the Trapper & Copperhead. This version comes with Rough Black Synthetic Jig covers and a polished Tru-Sharp Wharncliffe blade. Great for daily use or as an addition to any Case collection. Rugged, handsome and ready for use.
Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.
Blade: The Tru-Sharp stainless steel blade is finished in a bright polish and sports a long pull nail nick for easy opening of the blade. The pattern is a long Wharncliffe blade with a full flat grind for an excellent combination of strength and cutting performance.
Handle: Polished Nickel Silver bolsters frame rustic and practical rough jig black synthetic covers for a sure grip in the hand, modern performance and classic style. The covers are fitted with brass pins to brass liners and the front cover sports the Case Oval scrip shield. A sturdy back spring offers simple, smooth mid-back lock operation for secure use.
Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel: Case's proprietary version of 420HC. Stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough. With proper heat treat it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
