Designed by Case Legend Tom Hart the Copperlock was an entirely new pattern released in 1997 that brought together the elements of older patterns: the Trapper & Copperhead. Great for daily carry or as an addition to any Case collection the Copper lock is rugged, handsome and ready for use. This version comes with smooth Rustic Red and brown Richlite covers, a polished Tru-Sharp clip point blade and oval shield.

Blade: The Tru-Sharp stainless steel blade is finished in a bright polish and sports a long pull nail nick for easy opening of the blade. The pattern is a long clip point blade with a full flat grind for an excellent combination of strength and cutting performance.

Handle: Polished Nickel Silver bolsters frame smooth, red and brown Richlite with a generous handle that delivers visual appeal and a solid grip in the hand. A recycled paper and phenolic resin composite similar to Micarta, layered Richlite offers the figured look of wood with the durability and weather resistance of a modern composite. The covers are fitted with brass pins to brass liners and the front cover sports a Case Oval shield. A sturdy back spring offers simple, smooth mid-back lock operation for secure use.

Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel: Case's proprietary version of 420HC. Stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough. With proper heat treat it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
