Details
The Stockman is believed to be a scaled down version of the Cattleman pattern and shares similarities in the design. Also known as a 'Jumbo' or 'Big' Stockman, the Large Stockman is the largest of this pattern and comes with a main clip point blade and two auxiliary blades. This version comes with beautifully figured Red Sycamore covers and polished Tru-Sharp blades.
Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.
Blades: The Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades are finished in a bright polish and are each equipped with a generous nail nick for opening. This version comes with the traditional Stockman Trio: a long clip point main blade, with a spey and sheepsfoot blade as backup. All three come with a shallow hollow grind for optimal slicing performance.
Handles: Nickel Silver bolsters frame the Red Sycamore Wood covers fitted with nickle silver pins to brass liners. The front cover sports a "XX" Embossed Shield. Sturdy back springs offer simple, smooth slip joint operation for use.
As with all natural materials the patterns of the wood scales will vary on each knife.
