Case Mini Copperlock Smooth Yellow Synthetic CV Back Lock 30116

Designed by Case Legend Tom Hart the Copperlock was an entirely new pattern released in 1997 that brought together element of older patterns: the Trapper & Copperhead. The Mini Copperhead offers this same great design in a more compact package. This version comes with Case's iconic smooth Yellow Synthetic covers and a polished Chrome Vanadium blade.

Blade: The Chrome Vanadium carbon steel blade is finished in a bright satin polish and sports a long pull nail nick for easy opening of the blade. The pattern is a long clip point with a full flat grind for an excellent combination of strength and cutting performance to handle all your daily cutting tasks.

Handle: Nickel Silver bolsters frame the Smooth Yellow Synthetic covers for a classic, utilitarian look and feel. Fitted with brass pins to brass liners, the covers are secured in traditional style. The front cover sports a Case Script Oval Shield. The mid-back lock allows for easy, one-hand operation and provides secure lockup for use.

Case Chrome Vanadium: CV or Chrome Vanadium is Case Knives carbon steel offering. Based in simple carbon steel (1086 or 1095) with small amounts of Chrome and Vanadium added for grain refinement and better hardening response. CV steel has low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but is very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
