Details

The small, serpentine-shaped jack knife from Case knives known as the Peanut comes equipped with dual blades mounted at the same end of the elegantly curved handle. The size makes it a great choice for dress carry or daily carry in a fifth pocket or coin pocket. This version comes with Corn Cob jig antique bone covers and Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades.

Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.

Blades: Both blades are high polish satin finished Tru-Sharp stainless steel and opened via generous nail nicks. Full height hollow grinds offer great slicing performance on the thin blades: one a Long Clip Point opened from the front and the other, a small Pen blade, opened from the back.

Handle: Corn Cob jig antique bone covers offer a warm feel with plenty of traction and a timeless look. Polished nickel silvers bolsters frame the scales matching the Case Bowetie shield. Construction is brass liner and pins in the traditional style. Slip joint operation with solid half-stop makes for smooth and secure operation.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment, it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
