Inspired by the classic, English Wharncliffe Whittler this simple slip joint design offers three unique blades shapes and a comfortable handle for daily use. Blades: The Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades are finished in a bright polish and are each equipped with a generous nail nick for opening. The Seahorse Whittler has three blades in the classic configuration: a large, beefy Wharncliffe main blade for the rough work and two smaller blades, pen and coping, to accomplish all the detail work. All three come with full flat grinds for excellent slicing performance and durability for both wood craft and utility work.

Handles: Smooth, red and brown Richlite covers are fit between two sets of nickel silver bolsters for a classic and stylish look. A recycled paper and phenolic resin composite similar to Micarta, layered Richlite offers the figured look of wood with the durability and weather resistance of a modern composite. The covers are attached with brass pins to brass liners in the traditional style. The front cover sports an embossed Case Oval shield while stainless steel back springs deliver smooth, simple and secure slip-joint operation.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
