Details

The Case Tear Drop is one of the newest Case patterns made in collaboration with award-winning custom knife maker, Tony Bose. The Tear Drop was inspired by the custom knife Bose built for the movie, "Lincoln" and delivers a slim daily carry slip joint with stylish 'teardrop' handle. This version comes with rugged and handsome Pocket Worn Peach Seed Jigged Antique Bone covers and spear point Tru-Sharp stainless steel blade.

Brand new directly from W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co., USA

Blade: The single spear blade has a shallow hollow grind for solid slicing performance. Made from Tru-Sharp stainless steel with a mirror satin finish, the Tear Drop is easy to maintain and offers solid daily carry utility and performance in a compact package. This model has solid back spring tension and smooth slip joint operation.

Handle: The rugged Antique Bone covers are fit to a set of polished nickel silver bolsters and have a great in-hand feel with Peach Seed Jigged texture and a Pocket Worn finish. The covers are attached with brass pins to brass liners in the traditional style. The front cover sports a Case Propeller shield while dual stainless steel back springs deliver smooth, simple and secure slip-joint operation.

Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel: Case's proprietary version of 420HC. Stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough. With proper heat treat it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
