A favorite among Case collectors, the Trapper has been in production since the 1920s and is still a popular and utilitarian jack knife. Originally designed for trapping and skinning tasks, this lightweight is a great all around user thanks to the versatile design. The classic slip joint design offers two large steel blades at the primary end of the comfortable bolstered handle. Great for daily use or an addition to your Case collection. This version comes with Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades, smooth black Ebony wood covers, tool worked nickel silver bolsters and polished bow tie shield.

Blades: The standard Trapper pattern, this folder features a full-size clip point and spay blade both at the same end of the handle. Both blades are made from bright polished Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades with shallow hollow grinds for balanced performance and durability. The blades open smoothly via the nail nick openers with a solid snap from the back spring keeping the blades secure and ready to use.

Handle: Smooth, black Ebony wood covers are fit between two sets of nickel silver bolsters that have been tool worked for a textured feel and custom look. Ebony has a warm, organic feel in hand with solid durability and weather resistance. The covers are attached with brass pins to brass liners in the traditional style. The front cover sports a Case Bow Tie shield while dual stainless steel back springs deliver smooth, simple and secure slip-joint operation.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
