Blades: The Mini Trapper pattern offers a single, long clip point blade perfect for simple everyday tasks and a more robust Spey blade for heavier use. Made of Case's Chrome Vanadium carbon steel, the blades are equipped with slicing hollow grinds, single nail nick openers and high mirror polish finish.

Handle: Jigged Chestnut Bone covers are attached to brass liners with brass pins in the traditional style. The Chestnut Bone is rugged and offers plenty of traction for everyday use. The front cover sports an embossed Case Oval Shield. Simple slip-joint operation provides smooth and secure operation of the knife while in use.

Case Chrome Vanadium: CV or Chrome Vanadium is Case Knives carbon steel offering. Based in simple carbon steel (1086 or 1095) with small amounts of Chrome and Vanadium added for grain refinement and better hardening response. CV steel has low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but is very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
