Chris Reeve Small Sebenza 21 Bog Oak Wood Inlays

Chris Reeve Small Sebenza 21 featuring a stabilized Bog Oak wood inlaid titanium handle. Bog Oak is oak that is in the early stages of fossilization and is extremely dense with a dark brown, nearly black color. Due to the unusual nature of this wood it is highly limited in availability and a choice wood for knife handles and inlays.

Blade: Razor sharp machined CPM-S35VN stainless blade opens effortlessly via a single gold anodized titanium thumb stud. Tumbled flats are contrasted by satin grinds for an upscale finish with a shallow hollow grind that slices superbly.

Handle: Made of precision machined and hand polished titanium slabs, the Bog Oak wood inlays are cut, smoothed and carefully secured in the front and back of the handle. A blasted Reeve Integral Frame Lock holds the blade solidly in the open position and can be easily disengaged. An attached black lanyard with gold titanium spacers and a blast finished titanium tip up carry pocket clip round out this truly handsome work of art.

Packaging: Includes a calfskin pocket pouch, single tube of fluorinated grease, Allen key and Chris Reeve microfiber polishing cloth. Also includes a Certificate of Authenticity with birth date of December 18, 2018.

CPM S35VN: Designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V, S35VN substitutes niobium for vanadium delivering an increase in toughness of about 15-20% with no appreciable loss of wear resistance. Increased toughness means better resistance to edge chipping. Corrosion resistance is on par with S30V.
