Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 21 Insingo Natural Canvas Micarta Inlays

The Chris Reeve Large Sebenza 21 is now available with a Natural Canvas Micarta inlaid titanium handle. Handsome and rugged, the Micarta inlays offer added traction and a stylish look. Blasted grey titanium provides a nice contrast to the warm tones of the inlays while the rest of the construction is standard Chris Reeve: perfection.

Blade: The razor sharp CPM-S35VN stainless Insingo blade opens effortlessly via a single titanium thumb stud. The entire blade is stonewashed, complementing the rugged handles, and hides wear well. A shallow hollow grind slices superbly, offering 3.5 inches of fine cutting edge. The Insingo blade is a modified Sheepsfoot that has plenty of belly for slicing and a less aggressive point for added safety while still functional for piercing.

Handle: Made of precision machined and blasted titanium slabs, the inlays are cut, smoothed and carefully secured in the front and back of the handle. A Reeve Integral Frame Lock holds the blade solidly in the open position and can be easily disengaged. An attached black lanyard with titanium spacers round out the construction.

Packaging: Includes a calfskin pocket pouch, single tube of fluorinated grease, Allen key and Chris Reeve microfiber polishing cloth. Also includes a Certificate of Authenticity with date of birth.

CPM S35VN: Designed to offer improved toughness over CPM S30V, S35VN substitutes niobium for vanadium delivering an increase in toughness of about 15-20% with no appreciable loss of wear resistance. Increased toughness means better resistance to edge chipping. Corrosion resistance is on par with S30V.
