Using premium materials like S45VN or MagnaCut stainless steel and blasted titanium handles, it isn't afraid of showing off a little bit either. The ceramic ball interface creates a secure and smooth lockup without the stick you experience with standard titanium framelocks. CPM S45VN: An evolution in the S30-series of steels from Crucible, S45VN shows improved edge retention and corrosion resistance relative to S35VN a slight reduction in toughness. Also considered an upgrade to Elmax with similar edge retention but better hardness, corrosion resistance, toughness, and a finer carbide structure (better sharpness).
