• Handle: Stunning Purple Heart Wood inlays accent this year's polished 6Al-4V titanium slabs. 
• About: Purple Heart Wood, or Peltogyne purpurea tree, is found primarily in Central and South America. Known for its striking purple hue, but also its strength, durability and natural sheen that won't dry out. With a Janka hardness of 1860, it is one of the hardest and most durable woods available. The wood's natural color ranges from a deep, rich purple to a reddish-purple hue that does not fade over time. Its natural oils aid in the durability which requires little maintenace beyond regular cleaning.

The Chris Reeve Sebenza 31 is part of an evolution of precision knife making. Each version along the way has been refined, tooled and tested to meet the best specifications of this generation. The 31 has hydraulic-like action thanks to its oversized bronze washers pivot. Lockup has never been smoother with the addition of the ceramic ball lock interface to the frame lock bar. An offset pocket clip keeps pressure off the lockbar for ease of opening. A solid package that's tough to beat.
