The Sebenza 31 is an update to the time-tested and proven design of the classic Sebenza 21. Updated features include a Ceramic Ball Interface frame lock, off-set clip, improved ergonomics, full front inlay and tighter tolerances from improved machining processes. Sebenza means “work” in Zulu, and the heirloom quality model 31 will see plenty of work over its lifetime. The Small 31 is a capable yet carry friendly size. This version comes with a stonewashed CPM Magnacut Tanto blade and glass bead blasted titanium handles with Macassar ebony wood inlays.

Blade: The CPM Magnacut Tanto point blade has a deep hollow primary grind offering exceptional slicing performance, extended blade life and solid durability and a flat ground tip for strength in piercing. A wear hiding full stonewashed finish and a classy crowned spine offer a handsome look. Operation of the blade via the right-hand titanium lug is smooth with hydraulic action on the oversize bronze washer pivot.

Handle: Upgraded with a stunning glass-bead blast finishing, the 6AL4V titanium handle slabs have a smooth, silky feel. The front ebony wood inlay is a large, single piece that lends elegance to the sleek design. A Reeve Integral Lock utilizes the titanium frame to deliver “bank vault” lockup, while the Ceramic Ball Interface increases lock reliability and life while delivering smooth operation. Includes a tube of fluorinated grease, microfiber cloth, leather slip sheath and information packet.

CPM-MagnaCut: Developed by metallurgist Larrin Thomas (Knife Steel Nerds) MagnaCut is a powder metallurgy steel designed to deliver balanced high-performance with high hardness (up to 65 Rc), similar toughness to CPM-4V, and corrosion resistance better than M390, similar to LC200N. Sharpening is relatively easy, between CPM-154 and S35VN/S45VN. For an all around steel Magnacut is tough to beat.
