The Coffin Hilt Copperhead gets its name from its coffin shaped handle, and copperhead-like front bolster. This unusual pattern has been paired with a large wharncliffe blade, made from hand forged river pattern damascus by Chuck Hawes. Filework runs the full length of the spine, including where the blade flawlessly meets the backspring. Chuck personally selected the maple burl handle scales, and matched them against his own handcrafted damascus bolster. This heirloom-quality knife comes complete with an exceptionally sharp edge, built to handily slice through just about anything you can throw at it.
