Forged and finished by hand one knife at a time, the Chuck Hawes Custom Folding Hunter pairs a W2 blade and wavy hamon with amber stag jigged bone and a 124-layer Damascus bolster.

• Sole Authorship Build: This knife is fully handmade by Chuck Hawes, who forges and fits each component himself, ensuring one-of-a-kind quality from start to finish.
• W2 Tool Steel with a Hamon — Chuck differentially hardens the high-carbon W2 blade, drawing a wavy temper line down the edge. The hard edge takes a keen, lasting bite while the softer spine stays tough, and the hamon comes out one of a kind on every blade.
• 124-Layer Damascus Bolster — Hand-forged into a burl pattern from 124 layers of W1 and 15N20 steel and etched to bring out bright and dark bands, the bolster frames the front of the hunter. Against the amber bone the contrast stands out, giving the knife a one-off front end.
• Amber Stag Jigged Bone Handle — Bone is jigged and dyed a warm amber to echo the look of genuine stag, with carved texture that adds grip and old-school character. Each scale is fit and finished by hand, so the color and pattern fall a little different on every knife.
• Strong Backsprings with Half-Stop: Built with strong, reliable backsprings and a clean half-stop, this knife opens with authority and closes securely.
• Detailed Filework: The backspacer and blade spine are both hand-filed, adding detail only found in custom made knives.
