The Chuck Hawes Custom Trapper is a classic slip joint design made in the traditional fashion. Rugged Sambar Stag handle scales are flush fit to Damascus bolsters on stainless steel liners for a classic appearance. The handles house a single hand forged Burl Damascus blade.

Blade: Hawes hand forged Damascus combines 180 layers of 1080, 5160 and 15n20 high carbon steels creating a unique Burl pattern. The Trapper-style slim clip point blade is opened with single nail nick and comes razor sharp. File work at the thumb ramp adds some traction and a custom feel. The blade opens with a pronounced half stop with strong back spring construction.
Handle: Stainless steel liners support rustic Sambar Stag handle scales and hand forged Damascus bolsters all meeting seamlessly. A full length Damascus backspring rounds out the handle construction and is embellished with the same file work found on the spine of the blade.
Includes soft-sided zipper pouch for safe storage.
