Based on the Rustic Gent, the CIVIVI Appalachian Drifter II is the next evolution of the design, retaining the timeless style and excellent performance of the original with an upgrade to liner lock construction. The iconic clip point blade and sweeping handle make this a great user, while the bolsters handle design and excellent fit and finish make this an ideal dress carry blade. This version comes with a black hand rubbed stainless San Mai Damascus blade and twill carbon fiber bolstered red and black carbon fiber handle.

Blade: Made from black hand rubbed stainless San Mai Damascus, the blade is executed in a hollow ground, Bowie style clip point that offers excellent performance in both piercing and slicing. While the Damascus blade delivers stunning visual appeal, the utilitarian profile has long been used by hunters and is capable of handling both fine work and heavy use. Dual fullers on the blade enhance the aesthetics while offering an easy way to open the blade with two hands or utilize the top flipper tab for fast, smooth front flipper deployment on the caged ceramic bearing pivot.

Handle: Stainless steel liners house the blade and support striking red and black carbon fiber handle scales with twill carbon fiber bolsters for a modern, stylish look. Carbon fiber offers modern performance along with the liner lock mechanism which is smooth in operation with solid, secure lockup. Construction is completed with stainless Torx hardware and a partial back spacer with inline lanyard attachment.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry clip.

Chinese San Mai Damascus: Produced in multiple patterns, Damascus offers the performance of a modern steel with striking visual appeal from the pattern welded layers. The core of this blade is 9Cr18MoV stainless steel hardened to around 60 HRC for solid cutting performance.
