The CIVIVI Baby Banter takes his popular drop point liner lock folder and scales it to a sub-2.5-inch blade platform for more discreet carry. This version comes with a black stonewashed Nitro-V blade and Cuibourtia wood handle scales.

Blade: The Nitro-V drop point blade rides smoothly on a caged ceramic ball-bearing pivot just like the original. Dual titanium thumb studs offer ambidextrous deployment, while the high flat grind provides solid slicing performance and durability. Spine jimping pairs with the full index finger choil for exceptional control and safety in use. The black stonewashed finish is low-key and hides wear from daily use.

Handle: With a 3 1/8” handle this Baby is compact to carry while offering a full four-finger grip thanks to the generous choil. An open construction with nested stainless steel liners delivers a rigid, lightweight handle with plenty of visual appeal from the figured wood scales. Flat scales provide smooth pocket transitions while the inset liner lock gives secure lockup for safe use.

Carries via a reversible stainless steel deep carry clip.

Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Nitro-V is a modified AEB-L with Nitrogen and Vanadium added for enhanced performance. Nitro-V is very fine-grained steel with excellent edge stability, allowing for a very fine, high-performance slicing edge. It is easy to sharpen, has better edge retention than AEB-L, and is one of the toughest stainless steels.
