Like the stylish Dogma and Ortis folders, the CIVIVI Badlands Vagabond is a lightweight, utilitarian liner lock flipper with performance and style at an unprecedented value. Sharing the same handle design and dimensions as the Ortis this knife offers familiar ergonomics with a spear point blade and dual thumb stud and flipper deployment. This version comes with black FRN handle scales, black stainless steel liners and a black stonewashed 9Cr18MoV stainless steel blade.

Blade: The dark stonewashed spear point blade comes hollow ground for exceptional performance while the sturdy 3 mm thick blade stock offers solid durability. Tapered with a long spine swedge the blade has a fine tip for piercing and detail work with an index choil added for control. A caged ceramic ball bearing pivot delivers fast, smooth operation with easy deployment via the flipper or thumb studs.

Handle: Skeletonized, black stainless steel liners support the simple and ergonomic contoured Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon or FRN handle scales. Milled with a faux bolster the scales have a fine texture for visual appeal and enhanced traction in hand. One liner forms the liner lock mechanism offering smooth, reliable operation and solid lockup with scallops to aid in disengagement. An inline pin allows for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a reversible stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.

9Cr18MoV: Chinese equivalent of 440B with enhanced performance from modified composition. Qualities include high corrosion resistance and decent toughness with finer grain for a sharper edge and moderate edge retention.
