Designed by custom knife maker Brad Zinker, the CIVIVI Bo takes his clean, minimalist design and delivers it in an amazingly affordable and stylish production piece with excellent performance. The flat ground Nitro-V blade is a slicing machine while the time tested liner lock platform is elevated with impressive, contoured colored carbon fiber scales. This version comes with a gray stonewashed blade and red carbon fiber handle scales.

Blade: The utilitarian straight spine blade is made from gray stonewashed Nitro-V in a full flat grind that offers excellent cutting performance and takes advantage of the high edge stability of the steel. This knife easily takes a fine edge and slices well with plenty of point for piercing and detail work. The gray stonewashed finish is discreet in use and hide wear while looking great. A caged ceramic ball bearing pivot delivers fast flipper deployment and smooth operation.

Handle: Skeletonized stainless steel liners support stunning red carbon fiber scales that are fully contoured for a comfortable, hand filling grip. The simple handle design is comfortable in multiple grips for good versatility with a lightweight, easy to maintain open back construction completed with dual barrel spacers and inline lanyard pin.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up stainless steel deep carry clip.

Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Nitro-V is essentially AEB-L with a dash of Nitrogen and Vanadium thrown in for enhanced performance. What you get is a very fine-grained steel that is easy to sharpen, has moderate edge retention and excellent edge stability allowing for a very fine, high performance slicing edge. This is one of the tougher stainless steels.
