Cousin to the massive Mastodon, the CIVIVI Bullmastiff is a liner lock flipper equipped with a stout cleaver profile blade. The Bullmastiff is a strong, reliable and hardworking dog that requires no added training to carry out its intended task of guarding its family and property. The knife lives up to its namesake with intuitive operation, burly construction and utilitarian design. This version has a stonewashed 9Cr18MoV stainless steel blade and coarse translucent "Jade green" natural G10 scales.

Blade: A stout, 3 mm thick cleaver blade is tough for heavy use with a broad full flat grind for excellent slicing performance. For piercing and detail work the tip comes to a fine point and a large index choil enhances control. Dual fullers add visual appeal to the classic cleaver profile and offer an added deployment option along with the index flipper. A ceramic bearing pivot offers smooth deployment. 

Handle: Skeletonized stainless steel liners support the coarse G10 handle scales with chamfered edges for ergonomic comfort and a versatile neutral design. The liner lock mechanism is smooth and reliable with solid lockup for safe use.

Carries via a reversible stainless steel deep carry clip.

9Cr18MoV: Chinese equivalent of 440B with enhanced performance from modified composition. Qualities include high corrosion resistance and decent toughness with finer grain for a sharper edge and moderate edge retention.
