Built with a slim, front flipper design, the Exarch is sure to rank high in your everyday carry thanks to smooth bearing action, fidget friendly front flipper and slicing, high hollow ground, drop point blade. This version comes with hand rubbed black copper handle scales, black stainless steel liners and matching black hand rubbed San Mai stainless Damascus blade.

Blade: A simple, utilitarian drop point blade made from striking San Mai Damascus comes etched showcasing the unique pattern welded layers and finished with a black hand rubbed finish for a more subdued look. The nearly full height hollow grind offers excellent slicing performance and tapers the tip for piercing and fine work. Caged ceramic bearings at the pivot deliver silky smooth deployment, while the extended tang at the spine allows for fast or controlled deployment with jimping for solid traction.

Handle: Slim and sleek, the handle of the Exarch has deeply chamfered edges and squared corners giving the knife a “modern traditional” look and good in hand feel. Skeletonized black stainless steel liners create a solid foundation for the scales with one forming the liner lock mechanism: simple, reliable and flawless in operation. A subtle cutout in the scale allows access to the scalloped surface for easy disengagement. Hand rubbed black solid copper scales and partial back spacer deliver an appealing antique look.

Chinese Damascus: Damascus offers the performance of a modern steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Often available in multiple patterns, Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look. The core of this blade is 9Cr18MoV stainless steel hardened to around 60 HRC for solid cutting performance.
