CIVIVI Fracture Tanto C2008A OD Green G10 8Cr14MoV Stainless Steel Slip Joint

The CIVIVI Fracture blends traditional slip joint knife construction with modern design and materials for an excellent choice for non-locking daily carry. Slim and lightweight, the Fracture carries very well and has the added benefit of one-hand opening thanks to the extra large blade hole cutout. This Tanto version comes with a gray stonewashed blade and OD Green G10 handle scales.

Blade: Gray stonewashed stainless steel is executed in a saber ground Tanto profile for high durability with good slicing and piercing performance. Often found on tactical blades, the Tanto point is functional for a variety of cutting tasks especially when cutting on a flat surface. Ambidextrous, one-hand opening is smooth and reliable thanks to a phosphor bronze washer pivot and oversized blade hole cutout.

Handle: Supported by a solid stainless steel back spacer and gray stainless liners, the ergonomic G10 handle scales have a peel-ply texture for good traction with an integral index finger guard for added safety. Edges are chamfered for comfort with a slim design that carries well without sacrificing performance. The back spring delivers solid slip joint operation with an exposed pommel end milled for lanyard attachment. Black stainless Torx hardware completes the construction.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.

8Cr14MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr14MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is similar to 440B. Sharpening should be a breeze.
