Blade: A tall, drop point profile blade is made from flat ground, 3 mm thick, satin finished D2 tool steel. While the blades' satin finish is eye catching it is stout enough for heavy use while still offering good slicing performance. A nearly full length swedge along the spine tapers to a fine piercing point while a section of jimping provides traction for the thumb. Offer smooth operation and fast flipper deployment the pivot is equipped with a set of caged ceramic ball bearings. Forward of the flipper, a full size choil provides added control and security during heavy use.

Handle: Gray stainless steel liners form a solid foundation housing the blade and G10 partial back spacer. Contoured layered G10 and Carbon Fiber handle scales offer a striking visual appeal while offering good traction in the hand. Durable, lightweight and ergonomic, the handles offer both performance and style. The spacer helps protect the blade while still allowing for easy cleaning and maintenance while the pin in the back spacer provides for inline lanyard attachment.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
