Details
A collaborative offering from Italian designer Alessandra De Santis and CIVIVI knives, the Kiri-EDC is an everyday carry fixed blade inspired by the classic Japanese Kiridashi utility knife. A simple, all stainless steel construction makes this knife robust and easy to maintain while the skeletonized handle is compact for carry and keeps the weight under 2 ounces for comfortable neck carry. The flat ground blade cuts with precision and an integrated bottle opener in the handle makes the Kiri-EDC a multi-functional tool. This version comes in a stonewashed gray finish.
Brand new, direct from CIVIVI Knives.
Blade: At under 2 inches in length the blade of the Kiri-EDC is still capable of handling the majority of everyday cutting tasks with ease and the blade/handle angle allow for precision cutting along the length of the blade. Jimping at the spine provides good traction and leverage for powerful cuts when you need it.
Handle: Skeletonized full tang construction is durable and light in weight with the option to add paracord for added traction. Strategic jimping on the handle delivers a secure grip with a hole at the pommel end for lanyard attachment for added security. An integral bottle opener is there to grant access to your favorite bottled beverage after a job well done.
Carries via a custom molded Kydex sheath with black stainless steel ball chain.
9Cr18MoV: Chinese equivalent of 440B. High corrosion resistance and decent toughness with finer grain due to composition enhancing performance.
