Based on the Ferrum Forge Mini Archbishop, the CIVIVI Odium is an ultra compact daily carry folder in a budget friendly platform that retains the iconic Ferrum Forge design aesthetic. Chamfered stainless liners support fully contoured G10 scales forming the sleek, comfortable handle while the simple drop point blade is equipped with a stout saber grind that is ready to tackle whatever your day throws at you. This version comes with a stonewashed D2 blade and Black G10 handle scales.

Blade: Simple yet effective, the drop point profile of the Odium comes with a mid-height saber grind for balanced performance and durability and a stonewashed finish that hides wear from use. D2 tool steel offers good edge retention and is corrosion resistant for a non-stainless steel. Deployment is fast and smooth thanks the caged ceramic ball bearing pivot, either via the index flipper or blade hole. A generous choil pairs well with subtle spine jimping to provide optimal control and enhanced safety in use.

Handle: Chamfered gray stainless steel liners are skeletonized for weight reduction and support the fully contoured G10 handle scales to deliver exceptional comfort. An index finger cutout pairs with the tapering handle to deliver a secure grip even with the smooth scales. Scalloped for traction, the stainless steel liner lock mechanism delivers reliably smooth operation and rock solid lockup for secure use. Construction is completed with stainless steel Torx hardware and a matching jimped G10 back spacer.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
