Following in the footsteps of the simple, sophisticated Dogma, the CIVIVI C2013 Ortis is a lightweight, utilitarian liner lock flipper with ergonomics and style at an unprecedented value. This version comes with contoured and textured solid carbon fiber handle scales, black coated stainless steel liners and a black hand rubbed stainless Damascus steel blade.

Blade: An iconic Bowie-style clip point blade is aggressively hollow ground for exceptional slicing and piercing performance with a sturdy 3 mm thick blade stock for durability. The fine tip of the clip point excels at piercing and fine work with a generous choil added for control. Caged Ceramic Ball Bearings at the pivot deliver fast and smooth operation with easy flipper deployment. An eye hole cutout in the blade can be used for slow, controlled opening and delivers visual style along with the striking yet subdued black hand rubbed Damascus blade. Pattern welded stainless Damascus cladding contains a core of 9Cr18MoV stainless steel offering balanced performance and style.

Handle: Skeletonized, black stainless steel liners support the simple and ergonomic contoured solid carbon fiber handle scales for an elevated look. The scales are milled with a faux bolster and fine texture for visual appeal and enhanced traction in hand. One liner forms the liner lock mechanism offering smooth, reliable operation and solid lockup with scallops to aid in disengagement. An inline pin allows for lanyard attachment while a G10 partial back spacer and black stainless steel Torx hardware complete the construction.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.

Chinese Damascus: Damascus offers the performance of a modern steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Often available in multiple patterns, Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look. The core of this blade is 9Cr18MoV stainless steel hardened to around 60 HRC for solid cutting performance.
