Polish custom knife maker Ostap Hel took inspiration from the classic Kiridashi for his Ki-V design. The Ki-V Plus top flipper takes this practical design format and delivers it in a larger, liner lock platform. With beauty, simplicity, and utility in equal measure, the Ki-V plus makes a great daily carry choice. This version comes with a black stonewashed Nitro-V blade and black G10 handle scales with carbon fiber overlays.

Blade: The steep edge of the reverse Tanto Nitro-V blade comes straight from the Japanese Kiridashi carving knife, perfect for fine, controlled cuts with plenty of length for general utility tasks. Jimping along the spine is ideal for index finger placement allowing added control. Riding smooth on the ceramic ball bearing pivot the blade is easily deployed via the ambidextrous top flipper while the low profile black stonewashed finish hides wear from use with rugged style.

Handle: Inset skeletonized stainless steel liners support G10 scales with eye-catching carbon fiber overlays joined by a single barrel spacer in a solid, lightweight, open back construction. The straight handle allow for multiple grips for added utility while the inset liner lock delivers smooth operation and solid lockup for safe use.

Carries via a right-hand stainless steel deep carry clip.

Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Nitro-V is a modified AEB-L with Nitrogen and Vanadium added for enhanced performance. You get is a very fine-grained steel with excellent edge stability, allowing for a very fine, high performance slicing edge. It is easy to sharpen, with good edge retention and high toughness for a stainless steel, close to M4.
