A collaborative offering from Polish custom knife maker Maciej Torbé and CIVIVI knives, the Planck is a fixed blade neck knife in Torbé's iconic style and scaled down for daily carry. A simple, all steel construction makes this knife robust and easy to maintain while the skeletonized handle is compact for carry and keeps the weight under 2.5 ounces for comfortable neck carry. The flat ground blade cuts with precision while the ring end makes for secure use and allows for karambit style grips. This version comes in a stonewashed gray finish.

Blade: At under 3 inches in length the D2 blade is capable of handling the majority of everyday cutting tasks with ease. The blade angle allows for precision cutting. The length of the blade has a subtle belly for slicing and is nearly full flat ground for optimal performance. Jimping at the spine scoop provides good traction and leverage for powerful cuts when you need it.

Handle: Skeletonized milling on the full tang handle makes the Planck durable, lightweight and secure in the hand. Strategic jimping on the handle paired with a deep index choil delivers a secure grip with a ring at the pommel end for karambit-style grips.

Carries via a custom molded Kydex sheath with black stainless steel ball chain and Terzuola designed T-Clip.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
