The Odd 22 flipper marks the first collaboration between CIVIVI and Geoff Blauvelt a.k.a. Tuffknives. The build is all budget friendly performance with hallmark CIVIVI quality and a compact trailing point design unusual to an EDC folder. Paired with a curving, ergonomic handle design the Odd 22 is sure to be a favorite for hard daily use. This version comes with a matte silver bead blasted 14C28N blade, matching stainless steel liners and black G10 scales.

Blade: The sub-3 inch trailing point blade comes with a fine tip for piercing and detail work and a high flat grind delivering well-balanced geometry for slicing tasks. Deployment is fast and smooth thanks to the caged ceramic bearing pivot opening via the ambidextrous flipper or dual thumb studs. Matte blasted 14C28N is balanced and capable with a classy, low-key style.

Handle: Skeletonized steel liners support peel ply textured G10 scales joined in an open back construction for easy cleaning and maintenance. Deep milling on the scales gives a comfortably contoured feel while a generous index cutout provides added security for safe use. The steel liner lock is rock solid with smooth operation.

Carries via a reversible stainless-steel deep carry clip.

Sandvik 14C28N: 13C26 modified with more chromium and nitrogen added for higher hardness and improved corrosion resistance. Like 13C26, 14C28N is well-balanced with good toughness, corrosion resistance and stability for a fine, razor edge. Edge retention is higher than carbon steel, with similar toughness and the benefit of being stainless.
