Custom designer Dylan Mallery has teamed up with CIVIVI for his latest production folder, the Hadros. A robust Wharncliffe blade with a powerful hollow grind handles most cutting tasks with ease, while the slim, tapered handle is secure, comfortable and easy to carry. Practical materials render a utilitarian user, while the clean design lines make the Hadros a stylish daily carry choice. This version comes with a satin finished 10Cr15CoMoV stainless steel blade and olive green canvas Micarta handle scales.

Blade: The talon-like Wharncliffe blade is made from satin finished 10Cr15CoMoV (VG10) stainless steel with a high hollow grind provide powerful slicing and piercing performance balanced with durability. Stainless steel offers excellent edge retention with the added benefit of corrosion resistance, making it ideal for daily carry. Ambidextrous dual thumb stud deployment is fast and smooth thanks to the ceramic ball bearing pivot.

Handle: Skeletonized stainless steel liners support rugged canvas Micarta scales with chamfered edges for comfort in hand. The slender, tapered handle has a neutral design for a secure and ergonomic grip in multiple positions and slim carry. A stainless steel liner lock offers smooth, reliable operation and rock solid lockup for safe use, while the clean sweeping lines deliver added visual appeal. The barrel spacer construction is lightweight and open for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.

10Cr15CoMoV Stainless Steel: Chinese equivalent of Japanese VG10. 10Cr15CoMoV is a high carbon stainless steel with good hardening response (+60 HRC), edge retention and corrosion resistance. Works well with a high polish and thin edge for enhanced slicing performance.
