Description:

The Arkansas Toothpick was the main competitor to the Bowie knife for most of the 1800s; it is a large, classic dagger-style knife with a lot of personality. According to Cold Steel, the knife got its name from fictional accounts from European journalists claiming that the rugged folk of the Arkansas lowlands and Mississippi delta used this massive knife to pick their teeth. This modern recreation comes with a satin-finished 1055 blade, Malaysian Sal wood handle and alligator motif pommel with scabbard fittings.

1055 Carbon Steel: Simple, relatively low-carbon steel used in large, heavy-duty knives, throwing knives or chopping tools when toughness is the highest priority.
