The Cold Steel Colossus is named appropriately. This is a huge folder that packs a lot of cutting performance in a 4" blade size. Designed by custom knife maker Mike Wallace, the Colossus has a very wide blade with a continuous curve for super smooth slicing.
The Blade: Broad blade is fully flat ground, with a broad belly made from American CTS-XHP steel that zips through tough material with ease. Machine satin finished with a rectangular thumb plate allows for deployment with either hand.
The Handle: Two-toned American sourced G-10 handle has finger grooves in just the right places to lock itself in the hand. Super strong and tested Tri-Ad lock is center mounted in the long handle which is needed to tame this beast. Reversible pocket clip makes the knife fully ambidextrous.
The knife maybe a little more than is necessary for daily chores but when you want to overwhelm, go for the Colossus.
