The Lynn Thompson Leatherneck Bowie is a massive limited production version of the iconic clip point fixed blade from Cold Steel. Designed for use as an outdoor field and tactical defense tool, this Lynn Thompson signature series gains collector appeal thanks to the small, individually serialized 3000 piece run. This version comes with a stonewashed German D2 tool steel blade with signature and serial number etch and OD Green Kray-Ex handle.

Blade: The stout German D2 tool steel blade comes in a dramatic Bowie clip point profile, a powerful tool for any serious cutting task. Heavily stonewashed, the blade hides wear while looking great with dual fullers for added style and a robust high saber grind and clip swedge for unbeatable cutting potential. Wipe clean and lightly oil for protection against corrosion.

Handle: A deeply checkered Kray-Ex handle encompasses the entire tang offering a grip fit for any environment. To protect the user's hand from that razor edge, Cold Steel has secured a solid steel double quillon guard opposite a machined steel butt cap for an exceptionally strong, well-balanced feel in hand. The cap can even be used as a hammer in a pinch. 

Carries via a Secure-Ex sheath with detachable ambidextrous belt loop for carry. 

D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
