Cold Steel Recon 1 with a Spear Point plain edge CTS-XHP stainless steel blade. Black DLC coating provides extra durability and a non-reflective finish to the bade. Truly ambidextrous design can be opened with either hand by utilizing the dual thumb studs and locks up rock solid with the Tri-Ad lock back mechanism. The handle is ergonomically contoured G10 laminate which has also been textured for an aggressive non-slip grip. A heat-treated 6061 aluminum backspacer brings the handles together. Includes an attached black coated stainless steel pocket clip for tip-up right handed carry as well as an additional clip to attach for left-handed carry. Brand new direct from Cold Steel.

Our research shows users estimating edge retention slightly ahead of S30V, and toughness comparable to D2.
