The Cold Steel SRK (Survival Rescue Knife) was built to meet and exceed the extreme demands of special operations outfits. The practical yet tough as nails design was an instant success within the military and special forces community resulting in it being issued by the Navy SEALs for their Basic Underwater Demolition training. This version comes with a black handle and stonewashed CPM-3V blade.

Blade: More than 3/16" thick, the CPM-3V carbon steel blade has a stonewashed finish that hides wear from use while maintaining its rugged good looks. The clip point style blade offers versatility while the mid-height saber grind offers solid performance in both fine and heavy cutting tasks alike.

Handle: The Kray-Ex handle is checkered for a positive grip in adverse conditions and is resistant to even the harshest environments. The integral finger guard provides additional security and control while a brass tube has been set into the tang for attaching an optional lanyard. 

Sheath: Includes a heavy duty Secure-Ex sheath with Nylon belt loop.

CPM-3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. However, care is required to prevent corrosion. The edge can be ground thin as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention.
