Based off of designs developed by Andrew Demko while working as a Journeyman Electrician and Engineer, the Tiger Claw is a robust folding Karambit that can tackle any task in its path. Pairing Demko's design with high quality CTS-XHP steel, CNC machined G10, and a matte black aluminum ring makes this karambit tank-tough. Utilizing the Demko thumb-plate and ambidextrous pocket clip, that can be swapped to the opposite side, creates several draw and carry options to suit your needs. Modified Tri-Ad lock back was designed to withstand terrific impact forces while being almost impervious to shock. Made from American materials and new from Cold Steel.
About CTS-XHP: An alloy steel made by Carpenter, CTS-XHP was developed as a corrosion resistant D2 alternative. Our research shows users estimating edge retention slightly ahead of S30V, and toughness comparable to D2. This makes CTS-XHP a premium steel, which should hold a great edge and be reasonably corrosion resistant.
