Cold Steel's Commercial Series knives are no nonsense, high performance blades designed for professional use. Cryo quenched and precision flat ground blades deliver maximum cutting power with the minimum weight and maintenance required and a long-lasting razor sharp edge. Handles are ergonomically designed for a secure, yet comfortable grip, and made from durable, lightweight and weather resistant Kray-Ex polymer. The Tim Wells Slock Master Scalper is a signature version of the Commercial Scalper and comes with Tim’s signature red handle and his famous logo etched on the blade.

Blade: Sub zero cryo-quenched for improved wear resistance and cutting performance, the flat ground 4116 stainless steel blade has a wide drop point profile for all-around versatility with a 3 mm blade stock for a balance of strength and performance. With a razor sharp plain edge and utilitarian design this knife does it all.

Handle: Dual polymer handles wrap the tang of the blade and provide the best balance of performance and comfort. A stiff Zy-Ex core offers solid durability while the softer, textured Kray-Ex exterior provides a comfortable non-slip grip for extended use. Kray-Ex is weather resistant, food safe and easy to clean and maintain. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Carries via a molded Secure-Ex polymer sheath with an integral belt loop. 

Krupp 4116 is a medium carbon content steel with a high chromium content that makes it very rust resistant. It is not hard to sharpen and can exhibit better wear resistance than 420HC.
