Blade: The 8Cr13MoV stainless-steel blades come finished in a bright polish and are each equipped with a generous scalloped nail nick for opening. This version comes with the traditional Trapper duo: a long clip point and a Spey blade for versatility both opening from the same pivot point. Both blades have a shallow hollow grind for exceptional slicing performance.
Handle: Polished and grooved nickel silver bolsters frame jigged bone covers for a rugged look and tactile feel on the generous 4.1 inch handle. A traditional material, polished bone has good durability and weather resistance with timeless appeal. The sturdy back springs deliver simple, smooth slip joint operation for safe use.
8Cr13MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr13MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with a good balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and takes a razor sharp edge with ease. Edge holding is relatively low.
