Based on a WWII era pattern, the cutlass like German Aviator Machete is a chopping powerhouse with defensive capability thanks to the solid cross guard and steel pommel end. For extricating yourself from forest or jungle, the German Aviator Machete is ready for the task.

Blade: Black powder coated 1075 steel comes in a classic machete profile with a forward weight for solid chopping power. The full flat grind gives balanced performance and durability, with a secondary bevel for ease of maintenance.

Handle: Brass pins securely attach the solid walnut wood scales to the full tang of the blade. The pommel end has a steel plate for balance and strength, opposite the S-shaped cross guard for added safety during heavy use.

Carries via a leather sheath with canvas belt loop and stud retention loop.

1075 Carbon Steel: A simple carbon steel used by production and custom knife makers. Low wear resistance (edge retention) due to low carbide content. Good toughness at lower hardness and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Good performance when properly heat treated. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
