The Condor Tool & Knife Woodworker Axe has a 1.5 Lbs. head made from 1060 High Carbon Tool Steel and 16.25" American Hickory Handle. A great all-around ax that excels chopping and splitting, the Woodworker Axe comes with a high quality leather bit cover for safe carry. The straight toe and drop heal of the bit make the Greenland Pattern a fast an accurate chopper capable of making quick work of kindling or light limbing work.

Head: 1060 High Carbon Tool Steel is heat treated to a 45-50 Hrc, delivering the kind of toughness you want in an ax. The head is forge finished on the side with a medium polish on the 3 ⅜" bit (edge) and pole. The straight edge of the bit offers excellent accuracy required for woodworking tasks.

Handle: The handle is made from a solid piece of American Hickory 16.25" in length that has the straight profile which allows for griping the handle near the head for fine work as well as full-length swings for precise chopping.
